We’re Emma Scott and Lisa Van Hoever, friends who talk a lot. We are both deeply curious, and one thing we have in common is a fascination with the human experience and what makes us the way we are.
In this podcast, we discuss topics that go beyond the mundane in an effort to get to the heart of what it means to be human - in an unscripted, humorous, open-hearted way. We invite our audience to join us as we explore these important and sometimes unanswerable questions.

As a naturally curious person, I often begin with a question. In fact, I find honest questions much more interesting than answers. This is especially true when interacting with people. To me, every person is a paradox — a mystery. To hold space while witnessing the mystery unfold is priceless. Becoming is sacred work.
Beyond podcasting, Emma is an Enneagram coach with an interest in embodiment and psychology as well as a background in personal training and sales. You can find her listening to podcasts, music, and continually deepening her understanding of the Enneagram in her free time.
Emma believes in the power of accepting our humanness. Being able to hold opposites about ourselves and about the world with love is transformative. She longs to point others toward their own knowing, as they gradually shift from perpetual self-improvement to self-acceptance.

Words and pictures. Poetry and prose. Details, texture, hidden meaning, light and shadow, variety, and the unexpected, like the colors of minuscule mushrooms and moth wings. Imagination made manifest. These are the things that capture my attention. I am a collector of knowledge, things, images, experiences, and stories, and I love to transmute and share my collections through my creations.
Lisa is a multi-disciplinarian focusing on brand identity coaching + design, writing, and freelance graphics work in addition to podcasting.
Her soul mission to inspire others to discover the inherent beauty and magic in the mundane - the unexpected, if you will. Applying that concept to career, she aspires to guide clients to translate their heart-centered vision to their business's visual branding via a unique fusion of coaching and co-creative collaboration.
